Hi, Clifford! It’s Priscilla from The Gourd Place. I’d like to ask your permission to post your picture on our Facebook page. I’m not a typical Facebook person but do use it as a blog of sorts about experiences in the shop. Here’s what I’ve written about you but not posted yet :
And speaking of meeting interesting people in the shop, I met a most delightful man yesterday. His name is Clifford, and he is fully charged with the Life Spark. Virtually everyone laughs at my gourd cash register, but this man laughed extra heartily and wonderfully. And as he worked his way through our world gourd collection down the hall, I could hear his interest and enjoyment in “HMMMS” and “OHHHS.” Later when he brought his purchases to me at the checkout, I had to ask him about himself, explaining that I had noticed and appreciated what an enthusiastic person he is. He talked freely about his work as a professor and about the current subject he is studying and writing about in his blog: books about nature by obscure writers of the late 18th and early 20th centuries. I gave his blog a look last night; and as expected, it is a fountain of interesting observations and evidence of the Life Spark in this man. Some people in this world are so amazing and inspiring! http://www.commonplacenature.org/blog/posted
Priscilla, sorry it has taken so long for me to get back to you. Absolutely! I am honored that you would ask. Thank you for your kind words.
